What is Kiraala?
Kiraala is a location-based rental marketplace where individuals and businesses rent out the products they own to one another. You rent what you need instead of buying it, and earn income by renting out the things you don't use.
How do I rent something?
You search for the item you need and pick a suitable listing, choose your dates, and pay securely. Once your request is approved, you meet the owner, pick up the item, and return it when the term ends.
How do I list my product?
Tap "+ Create listing" and choose a category; add a title, description, and prices. Then add your address and your own photos and submit for review. Once approved, your listing goes live.
How are payments made, and are they secure?
Payments are taken in the app by credit card with 3D Secure. Your card details are not kept by Kiraala; they are stored with our payment institution partner. The amount is held securely until the rental process is complete.
How do I pick up and return the item?
Kiraala currently works with hand delivery; cargo/courier delivery is coming soon, so you'll be able to choose your delivery method (in person or by cargo/courier). For hand delivery, you arrange the pickup and return location with the owner via in-app chat, and start and end the rental with a QR code when you meet.

Can I extend my rental period?
Yes. On active rentals, use "Extend Rental Period" to choose a new date and pay; once the owner approves, the duration and cost are updated.
Can I buy the item I rented?
Yes. On active rentals you can send a purchase offer to the owner. If they accept your offer, you complete the payment and buy the item.
Can I cancel my rental request?
You can cancel your request as long as the owner hasn't taken any action yet. The amount charged (together with the deposit, if any) is refunded; the refund time may vary depending on your bank.
For owners

How do I set my rental prices?
You set separate daily prices for daily, 7+ days, and 30+ days. Lowering the per-day price as the duration grows encourages longer rentals and increases your total income.
I received a rental request, what should I do?
Review the request and the renter's profile, then approve or decline it. When you approve, you meet on the agreed date and start the rental with a QR code.
Can I charge a deposit?
Yes. When creating a listing you can set a deposit amount if you wish. The conditions under which the deposit is earned are set out in the Kiraala Services Framework Agreement.
How do I promote my listing?
With Kiraala Pro you can promote your listings on a daily or weekly basis. Pro listings are shown in a dedicated area on the home page and higher up in the feed.
Secure payments
How are payments made, and are they secure?
Payments are taken in the app by credit card with 3D Secure. Your card details are not kept by Kiraala; they are stored with our payment institution partner. The amount is held securely until the rental process is complete.
How are rental fees calculated?
The total number of days is calculated with the daily rate for the first 7 days, the 7+ rate for 7–30 days, and the 30+ rate for more than 30 days. The Kiraala service fee is added to this discounted amount.
What happens if my item isn't returned or comes back damaged?
Our support team follows up the process with the renter; if needed, our security and legal teams step in. If the return is late, the fee you're owed is charged for each day and the deposit, if any, is passed on to you. You can write to destek@kiraala.com for support.
Account & privacy
How can I delete my account?
You can delete your account from in-app Settings > Account, or by writing to destek@kiraala.com. If you have an active rental, it must be completed first. After deletion, your information is removed except where legal retention obligations apply.
How is my personal data protected?
The information you share is processed and stored securely under Türkiye's data protection law (KVKK). Your card details are not kept by Kiraala; they are stored with our licensed payment institution partner. Details are in the Data Protection Notice.
How do I manage notifications?
From in-app Settings > Notifications you can turn rental, message, and campaign notifications on or off individually.
For businesses
How can I feature my business on Kiraala?
You can rent out your products by creating a corporate profile. To apply, fill in the form on the Partner With Us page or get in touch at brands@kiraala.com.
I have a sole proprietorship — which profile should I choose?
Sole proprietors should create an "Individual" profile; invoices are issued to the national ID number you share. Joint-stock or limited companies choose the "Corporate" profile.
